Privacy Policy

Soix Notes is a private, local-first note workspace. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles and how your information is treated. We built Soix Notes so your content stays under your control.

1. Introduction

This policy applies to the Soix Notes application across the platforms on which it is distributed. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Soix Notes does not require an account to use, and it does not collect or transmit your personal notes. Your content is stored on your device unless you choose to enable an optional cloud sync service.

3. Local Storage

All notes, tasks, events, and attachments are stored locally on your device by default. You have full control over this data and can export or delete it at any time.

4. Cloud Sync (Optional)

You can choose to synchronize your data using a third-party cloud provider that you connect yourself, such as OneDrive or WebDAV. Your data is encrypted before it is uploaded, so it stays protected while stored with the provider you selected, under that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We do not operate or have access to those accounts. You can disable sync at any time.

5. Crash Reports

If crash or diagnostic information is collected, it is used only to improve stability and does not include the contents of your notes.

6. Analytics

Soix Notes does not use invasive advertising or third-party tracking SDKs to profile you.

7. Third-Party Services

Any cloud sync service you connect (for example OneDrive or WebDAV) is operated by its respective provider. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any service you choose to link.

8. Children

Soix Notes is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
